BBC - Benfica defender Luisao scored a late goal to give his team a slender lead in their Champions League tie - It was Petit whose free kick set up the Benfica goal, Luisao powering a header past the flat-flooted Liverpool keeper. Liverpool had plenty of possession, but laboured to find strikers Fernando Morientes and Robbie Fowler.
BBC - Benitez defends Gerrard decision - "I'd rather have Steven Gerrard ready for the next month rather than just 80 minutes of this match." "I was happy with the effort of my players but maybe we could've attacked more. But it's hard for us after the amount of games we have played this season to perform at a high tempo all the time."
BBC - Sissoko suffers damage to retina - "Momo has undergone further tests this morning which have confirmed damage to the retina in his right eye. The injury is currently affecting his eyesight. Further consultations with eye specialists have been arranged for when the player returns to England."

wat a blunder .....same was real's case they made a mess.
what a boring game... Rafa was too conservative, only thinking about the clean sheet.. (and was shocked about Real's result as well.)
Yeah it was quite boring. Not much chances created. Hopefully we can win the next game. What a cheap way to lose the title.
same old story of 90% possesion, no real chances and then caught out on a set piece due to zonal defence.
Not too worried though - benfica not the best side in the world and Anfield will overpower them
