US Open Semi-final

BBC - Agassi edges past Ginepri in five - Andre Agassi will make his sixth US Open final appearance on Sunday after beating Robby Ginepri in five sets in the semi-finals.

BBC - Federer win sets up Agassi final - The top seed was pushed hard but came through 6-3 7-6 (7-0) 4-6 6-3 for his ninth successive win over Hewitt.

Federer beat Hewitt...'again', but this timie there was something different from the past two years. Hewitt did really well, and he seemed to find out a way to challenge the world No.1. It wasn't an easy win for federer as it used to be when meeting Hewitt. Great to see Hewitt picked up some confidence back, and I believe there would be something different if he didn't miss that 5 set points in the second set. He definitely has the power to defeat Federer, though Federer, I must admit it, is completely a genius. But the reason why I like Hewitt is because of his strong spirit. He always shows how much he wants to win the match, and he will fight for every ball. I like his determined eyes in the matches, and I think there is nothing you can't do in sports if you got the potential and the determination of wining.

Semi-finals:
Kim Clijsters (Bel) bt Maria Sharapova (Rus) 6-2 6-7 6-3

Final:
BBC - Clijsters sweeps to US Open title - The Belgian dominated from the outset, breaking three times in the first set and twice in the second on her way to a 6-3 6-1 win.

Good job!! Hewitt's ex-girlfriend, Kim Clijsters won the title! It seems that someone finally can stop Sharapova and Williams. (I still think it would be great if she and Hewitt didn't break up....)
