He pencilled an urgent note to Condoleezza Rice, his Secretary of State, who was sitting just behind him: "I think I may need a bathroom break? Is this possible? W."

It's not my point to say something about George W Bush, though the situation and some reactions of media are really funny. What's I want to say here is that the media of Taiwan is a joke. Except some breaking news and some 'sick' news like psycho murderers or rapists, we don't really have international news. According to a survey of a business magazine in Taiwan, there are about 80% people here don't know which city the UN located. I think the media focus on the wrong things, and that shows how narrow-sighted Taiwanese are.

The coverage like this, a joke of George W Bush, can you believe that, is on the front-page of our evening newspapers! This is silly because we don't even have the coverage about what the meeting is it. What's the topic of his speech? What's the meeting for?

I'm glad that I know a little English, so that I won't be fooled by the media here or being ignorant about the world sometimes. Hey, wake up Chinese! Be international!
