Stevie: It Would Be A Nightmare

Gerrard: "It goes without saying I would love Michael Owen back here and think everyone at the club would love him back."
"Obviously it's up to Real Madrid. He's their player and they'll decide if he can go, but when I see Michael in the England squad this week I won't even have to ask him where he'd like to be in a few weeks."
"I'm waking up every morning, looking in the papers and hoping to read he's on his way here. Could you imagine him coming back to Anfield and scoring against us for another club? It would be a nightmare."
"Whoever signs him guarantees themselves 20 goals and, in my opinion, the best striker in the league."
There are also rumours talking about Owen and Woodgate will join Liverpool on loan this season, and the key factor will be the sale of Baros to Aston Villa. Well, it sounds not bad. Funny.
Ps. The picture is one of my favorite.

Not sure about woodgate - but i can't wait till this whole owen saga is sorted and we can have him scoring for us once again
It's a gamble to sign Woodagte. But if he can go back to his best, that would be great for Liverpool and also England! He has now started to take part in practice matches with junior team in Spain. Good luck to him then.
I'm also desperated to see Owen back to Anfield!! What Gerrard said was really touching, though Beckham today said he wanted Owen to stay with him because he's a good friend and good striker. But I think it's unfair to Owen to be the fifth choice in a team.
it is. he can virtually guarantee 20 goals a season and i believe thats exactly wot we need.
Owen is a very valuable member of the team.
Owen is a great compliment to Gerrard.
Gerrard is the man!
